Jodi Wolin
Jodi began her fundraising career at Boston Children’s Hospital managing the hospital’s 200,000-person donor database and has since held a variety of increasing leadership roles in Boston nonprofits. She has served on the executive teams at Casa Myrna, Children’s Trust, Boston Children’s Chorus, the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston Harbor Now, and Roca Inc. In addition, she spent several years at Development Guild providing consulting services to nonprofits including organizational assessments, capital campaigns and feasibility studies, executive search, and serving as Interim Director of Development for several nonprofits in transition.
Over her varied 27-year career she has developed and honed a specialty in assessing organizations’ strengths and challenges, then creating and refining teams and systems with the goal of building the foundation for successful fundraising programs.
Her work has been focused on creating sustainable revenue streams for organizations with budgets between $1M-$23M. In several of her roles, she increased fundraising over 100% within two years while streamlining processes and working across teams and departments to build systems and efficiency. Throughout her career, she has created a culture of philanthropy that embraces all.
Jodi has a strong track record and a wealth of experience in non-profit management, strategic planning, program design, and coaching. Throughout her career, Jodi has secured over $100 million for a range of organizations from small and start-up NGOs to larger, more complex organizations covering a range of issues including: healthcare, early childhood education human services, environmental and open space; and large scale public art.
Jodi has served on the Women’s Advisory Board of the Boston Chamber of Commerce since 2014 and is an annual guest lecturer on fundraising at several Boston colleges. In 2020, Jodi was awarded the University of Massachusetts Center for Collaborative Leadership’s “Leading the Way” Award for exceptional character throughout one’s career.
After enthusiastically serving the nonprofit sector for almost 3 decades, in April Jodi made the exciting decision to launch her own strategic advisory firm.
